Getting started
ADOI is currently in beta testing on iPhone (through Apple TestFlight) and Android (through Google Play internal or closed testing). Only invited testers can access the test version; features may change during development.
How to install the beta
- iPhone (iOS): Use the TestFlight invitation sent to you. Install TestFlight if prompted, then install or update ADOI from your invitation.
- Android: Use the Google Play testing link provided by ADOI. Sign into Google Play with the Google account registered for testing, accept the invitation if asked, and install or update ADOI through Google Play.
- Record a symptom: from the Home screen, select Log Pain, choose a body location and save the details you know.
- Review activities: Open Activities to see activities entered manually or imported from supported sources in your beta version. Apple Health is available only on iPhone; Android import options depend on the app build.
- See your history: use History to review previous entries and body locations.
- Explore analytics: view summaries based on information entered in your ADOI diary.
- Prepare a report: when available in your build, use the reporting and sharing tools to select information for review.
No pain? That still counts. Activities without reported symptoms can help you build a more complete activity history.
If you are using Android, features shown in iPhone screenshots may not appear exactly the same in your beta build. Please report any differences that prevent you from completing a task.
Troubleshooting
My recent activity isn't showing up.
On iPhone, check whether your workout appears in Apple Health and whether you’ve allowed ADOI to read relevant workout information. On Android, check whether the activity was entered manually or is available from a supported integration in your installed build. In Activities, use Refresh if available. If the activity is still missing, contact support with its date, type, phone model and ADOI build.
How do I change Apple Health access?
Apple Health applies to iPhone only. On iPhone, review ADOI’s permissions in Apple Health or iOS Settings (the menu varies by iOS version). Turning off access may stop future imports but does not necessarily remove information already saved in ADOI. For Android permissions, check your device’s Settings and the integrations available in your ADOI build.
Why does an activity say “No symptoms reported”?
ADOI can display activities that have no linked symptom entry. This helps distinguish activity history from specific pain records. The exact status rules may vary across beta versions.
Can I reinstall the beta to fix a problem?
Please don't uninstall or reinstall ADOI until you have confirmed your records are backed up. Some beta data may be saved locally. Contact support first if you're unsure.
How do I install ADOI on Android?
ADOI is available to invited Android beta testers through Google Play internal or closed testing. Open the ADOI testing link you received, use the same Google account that was registered as a tester, complete the opt-in step if required, and install ADOI from Google Play. The beta isn’t generally available to the public yet.
Google Play says ADOI isn’t available or I can’t join the test.
Check that you’re signed into Google Play with the Google account invited to test ADOI, that you opened the correct opt-in/test link, and that you’ve accepted the invitation where required. Some testing links are only accessible to an approved list of accounts. If you still cannot install, email support@adoi.app with your phone model and a screenshot of the error; don’t send your Google password.
Can a reviewer access my entire diary?
Only share information after checking which entries are included and who will receive the report. Anyone who receives a downloaded or forwarded report may retain a copy.
Privacy, your records and deletion requests
ADOI holds potentially sensitive information about pain, activity and wellbeing. You can ask questions about data access, correction or deletion at support@adoi.app.
If your beta build includes relevant controls, you can manage records and permissions in the app. Deleting the app is not necessarily the same as deleting an account or any synchronised data. Contact us before reinstalling if you're worried about losing your history.
When sending a privacy request, describe the action you need without including your full medical history. We may ask for reasonable identity verification before processing a request. The full Privacy Policy is being finalised and will be linked here once approved.
Help improve the beta
Your observations help us make ADOI clearer and more useful. iPhone testers can use TestFlight’s feedback tools; Android testers can use the testing feedback options made available through Google Play. Everyone can also email support@adoi.app with:
- What you were trying to do.
- What happened, and what you expected instead.
- Your device, iOS or Android version, and ADOI build number.
- A screenshot if helpful, after reviewing it for personal information.
Medical and emergency information
ADOI helps you record and organise information. It does not diagnose injuries, recommend medical treatment or provide emergency assistance. If you have severe, sudden or worsening symptoms, seek appropriate professional medical care. Do not use ADOI or this website to request emergency help.
